Bear Ye One Another’s Burdens

 

Philippians 2:4, 17-22, Galatians 6:2

 

I.                     Show patience and love towards believers who fail

a.      Even when there is failure the goal is to restore Galatians 6:1

b.      There is to be a spirit of tenderness Galatians 6:1

c.      We should consider ourselves when we think of and talk to others or put ourselves in their place Galatians 6:1

d.      Our strength is to be used to help others and not to boast Romans 15:1-2

 

II.                   Show patience and love towards those with different beliefs

a.      Christians should be patient and supportive with their brethren I Thessalonians 5:14

b.      Some who are weak in the faith may have differences about such things as food or days Romans 14:1-10

 

III.                  We are to seek the good of others I Corinthians 10:24, 33

a.      Be careful never to burden other people Luke 11:46, Matthew 11:28-30

b.      We should never cause or make divisions in the body I Corinthians 12:22-24

c.      We should use this attitude to bring them to salvation I Corinthians 9:19-23
