II Timothy 4:6-8

 

I.                     Never forget who you are warring against

a.      Never fall into the trap of thinking people are your enemies Ephesians 6:12

b.      The god of this world does all he can to stop the light II Corinthians 4:3-4

 

II.                   You have mighty weapons to fight this war with

a.      Keep your thoughts under control II Corinthians 10:4-5

b.      It is not you but His mighty powerful Word Hebrews 4:12

c.      Let the Word of God do its work II Thessalonians 3:1

d.      Your victory is in the blood of Jesus Christ Revelation 12:11

 

III.                  You have His promises

a.      Not even the gates of Hell can stop you Matthew 16:18

b.      Shortly Satan will be bruised under your feet Romans 16:20

 

IV.               Remember that your desire is to please Him that chose you II Timothy 2:4

 

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

 

2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

 

2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

 

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

 

2Th 3:1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

 

 

 

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

 

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

 

Rom 16:20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
